UNESCO Chair GHE

National and Territorial Representatives

National and Territorial Representatives play a key role in the UNESCO Chair community by acting as the link between the global level and the country, territorial and regional level. They ensure the implementation and development of the different activities of the Chair at the country, territorial and regional level, facilitate exchange between the different partners of the Chair and provide the Chair with relevant input for its activities. National and Territorial representatives receive technical, scientific and political support of the UNESCO Chair secretariat and are appointed for a period of four years. The roles, tasks and responsibilities of a National and Territorial Representative are described in the Terms of Reference for National and Territorial Representatives.
