Supported by the Commonwealth Fund of New York City, USA, through their Senior Harkness Fellows Small Grants Program, further analysis of the qualitative data from the Global Survey has enabled us to explore a number of themes in greater depth, including mental health and wellbeing of school students and staff and intersectoral working between health and education professionals in schools. Carried out by Shraddha Manandhar, B.P.H., M.Sc. (Intl Public Health) (Research Assistant), the analysis of 33 interviews is summarised in an executive report.
A number of events were subsequently derived and nourished by these analyses:
- About intersectoral working :
- A webinar was held to present the results of this call
- About wellbeing :
- The Chair has presented a session about how schools can promote well-being for young people, together with the International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH), UNESCO (France HQ), UNICEF (USA HQ) and WHO (Switzerland HQ) at the Global forum for Adolescents (GFA) in October 2023.
