The entire Chair team is delighted with this event, which marks the culmination of a major research project undertaken as part of the<a href=\"https:\/\/rebee.chaireunesco-es.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> R\u00e9ussir, \u00eatre bien, \u00eatre ensemble (REBEE)<\/a> project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The REBEE programme aims to promote health in schools and reduce health inequalities among young people by developing health-friendly professional practices and training teachers. Anchored in New Caledonia&#8217;s public health and education plans, its implementation involves close collaboration between educational and health players. The project responds to the region&#8217;s specific health challenges by creating a collective dynamic and integrating the cultural and social realities of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carmella Fernandes Da Rocha is the Chair&#8217;s representative in New Caledonia. A nurse with a master&#8217;s degree in public health in health education for children, adolescents and young adults from the University of Clermont Auvergne, she is currently in charge of health promotion at the Vice-Rectorate of Noum\u00e9a. Her role within the Chair is to promote networks for sharing knowledge and practices in New Caledonia and the Pacific region.
