{"id":5371,"date":"2022-05-30T11:20:22","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T09:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unescochair-ghe.org\/?p=5371"},"modified":"2022-05-30T11:20:24","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T09:20:24","slug":"publication-a-guide-to-action-on-lifelong-learning-for-health-in-cities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unescochair-ghe.org\/fa\/publication-a-guide-to-action-on-lifelong-learning-for-health-in-cities\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication: a guide to action on lifelong learning for health in cities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>A key outcome of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uil.unesco.org\/en\/learning-cities-iclc5\">fifth International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC\u202f5)<\/a>\u00a0was the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uil.unesco.org\/sites\/default\/files\/doc\/lifelong-learning\/cities\/5th-conference\/iclc5_yeonsudeclaration.pdf\">Yeonsu Declaration for Learning Cities<\/a>, which affirmed a commitment to building healthy and resilient cities through lifelong learning for health (LLLH).\u00a0With more than half of humanity living in urban areas, cities have a crucial role to play in promoting health education and building resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to provide concrete support to cities in this process, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and the UNESCO Chair Global Health and Education are collaborating to develop an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uil.unesco.org\/sites\/default\/files\/medias\/fichiers\/2022\/05\/YeonsuDeclarationEnactmentGuide_April%202022.pdf\">enactment guide for the Yeonsu Declaration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uil.unesco.org\/sites\/default\/files\/medias\/fichiers\/2022\/05\/YeonsuDeclarationEnactmentGuide_April%202022.pdf\">Enactment Guide of the Yeonsu Declaration for Learning Cities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A practical guide for cities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide aims to provide concrete support and tools for UNESCO&#8217;s learning cities, healthy cities and all cities that wish to implement a lifelong learning for health policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide consists of four parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A backdrop for the enactment of the declaration (Part\u202fA, p. 12)\u00a0<\/li><li>The content of a LLLH policy (Part\u202fB, p. 25)\u00a0<\/li><li>Implementing a LLLH policy (Part\u202fC, p. 39)\u00a0<\/li><li>A toolbox for city leaders (Part\u202fD, p. 59)\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide can be used in different ways depending on the context, means and objectives of each city.
