It\u2019s secretariat supports local Red Cross and Red Crescent action in more than 192 countries, bringing together almost 14 million volunteers for the good of humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment the IFRC has two vacancies for interns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intern, Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness Intern will be focus on two files:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>support the research and analysis of key evidence for the IFRC\u2019s WDR, focused this year on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic;<\/li><li>support&nbsp;documentation and knowledge sharing activities of the Global Health Security team to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to the IFRC&#8217;s epidemic and pandemic preparedness advocacy strategy.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifrc.org\/fr\/jobs\/details.html?jobId=97928&amp;jobTitle=Intern%2C%20Epidemic%20and%20Pandemic%20Preparedness\">For more information see the IFRC website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intern, Policy and Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Policy and Research Intern will focus on two files:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Support the preparation of the IFRC\u2019s World Disasters Report (WDR), focused this year on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic;<\/li><li>Support the Global Health Security team\u2019s mapping and knowledge processes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifrc.org\/fr\/jobs\/details.html?jobId=97926&amp;jobTitle=Intern%2C%20Policy%20and%20Resear\">For more information see the IFRC website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Closing date to apply for both internships is 18 May 2022.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world\u2019s largest humanitarian network.
