Concepts, Implications, and Application in Public Health<a href=\"#_ftn1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>\u201d. The publication explains how health develops and changes throughout the life course, and how the use of the life course approach among public health practitioners can ensure that health as a human right is achieved for all individuals. It describes the life course vision of health that focuses on achieving long, healthy, active, and productive lives, rather than diseases and their consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book consists of three stand-alone parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Part 1, \u201cConcepts\u201d, aims to explain the complexity of health through the understanding of the life course approach.<\/li><li>Part 2, \u201cImplications\u201d, identifies the implications for the use of the life course approach in public health.<\/li><li>Part 3, \u201cApplication in Public Health\u201d, identifies key opportunities to strengthen the adoption of the life course approach in public health practice.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The publication is available in <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.paho.org\/handle\/10665.2\/53409\">English<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.paho.org\/handle\/10665.2\/53368\">Spanish<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.paho.org\/handle\/10665.2\/53571\">Portuguese<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iris.paho.org\/handle\/10665.2\/53409\">More information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> Building Health Throughout the Life Course.
