This year\u2019s workshop theme was \u2018<strong>Connecting planetary health, climate justice, and community health: from knowledge to impact<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s workshop invited participants to explore the links between planetary health and community health and wellbeing. We looked into mobilizing communities, including the involvement of young people, as agents of change, ensuring that climate solutions are just, accessible, and impactful taking into account indigenous perspectives. By bridging knowledge with action, we inspired collaborative strategies that address the root causes of environmental degradation while fostering healthier, more resilient communities. The workshop was organised in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uca.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Clermont Auvergne<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Huddersfield<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehesp.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EHESP School of Public Health<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iuhpe.org\/index.php\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE)<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/refips.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R\u00e9seau Francophone International Pour la Promotion de la Sante (R\u00c9FIPS)<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eupha.org\/\">European Public Health Association (EUPHA)<\/a>&nbsp;\u0648&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalhealth.eu\/\">Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, UMC Utrecht<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All presentations and recordings of the lectures are available on <a href=\"https:\/\/unescochair-ghe.org\/fa\/global-community-health-annual-workshop-sixth-edition\/\">our website<\/a> as well as recommended readings from the speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early 2027 the theme and dates of the 7<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the Global Community Health Workshop will be announced.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 6th edition of the Global Community Health Workshop, held in June 2026, was a great success.
