Diretor da C\u00e1tedra de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e Sa\u00fade da UNESCO. Ap\u00f3s concluir seu mestrado em Nutri\u00e7\u00e3o Humana, seu primeiro emprego foi como professor de ci\u00eancias da sa\u00fade no instituto de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de professores de Amsterd\u00e3. Em seguida, passou a atuar na \u00e1rea de promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade, como respons\u00e1vel pela promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade em Amsterd\u00e3. No Instituto Holand\u00eas para a Promo\u00e7\u00e3o da Sa\u00fade (NIGZ), especializou-se na promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade nas escolas, sendo o primeiro a introduzir a n\u00edvel nacional o programa nacional de promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade nas escolas e dirigindo v\u00e1rios projetos europeus. Em 2007, tornou-se diretor da rede Schools for Health (SHE) at\u00e9 2017. Em 2018, juntamente com o professor Didier Jourdan, criou a C\u00e1tedra de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e Sa\u00fade da UNESCO, que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 Centro Colaborador da OMS. Sua especializa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 unir os setores da sa\u00fade e da educa\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 um experiente criador de redes, especialista em cocria\u00e7\u00e3o, formador e organizador de eventos locais e globais. Apoia a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre as pessoas, concentrando-se nos talentos e na singularidade de cada um. Tem sido ativista ambiental durante a maior parte de sua vida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resumo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante este webinar, os palestrantes analisar\u00e3o as experi\u00eancias com a educa\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea da sa\u00fade no setor educacional de v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses para identificar conquistas, dificuldades e possibilidades. Cada palestrante compartilhar\u00e1 suas respectivas experi\u00eancias, identificando os avan\u00e7os, pontos fortes, dificuldades e articula\u00e7\u00e3o dos setores de educa\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade para promover a educa\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea da sa\u00fade no \u00e2mbito escolar. Esta iniciativa \u00e9 proposta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da C\u00e1tedra UNESCO em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o na Sa\u00fade, do Cons\u00f3rcio Interamericano de Universidades e Centros de Forma\u00e7\u00e3o para a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o em Sa\u00fade e Promo\u00e7\u00e3o da Sa\u00fade (CIUEPS), da Rede Brasileira de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Popular em Sa\u00fade, da Rede Colombiana de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o no campo da Sa\u00fade e do Escrit\u00f3rio Regional para a Am\u00e9rica Latina da Uni\u00e3o Internacional de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o da Sa\u00fade e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o em Sa\u00fade (UIPES\/ORLA). Os seguintes objetivos foram definidos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promover a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o no campo da Sa\u00fade (EPS \u2013 EdPopS) a n\u00edvel nacional e internacional, como uma dimens\u00e3o fundamental das disciplinas da sa\u00fade, das ci\u00eancias da educa\u00e7\u00e3o e das ci\u00eancias sociais e humanas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recuperar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o latino-americana e posicion\u00e1-la no \u00e2mbito regional, o que implica promover suas apostas cr\u00edticas e decoloniais. Uma ECS (EpS \u2013 EdPopS) que defenda a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o social para uma sociedade mais justa e equitativa que garanta o bem-estar e uma vida digna.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promover a articula\u00e7\u00e3o dos sectores da educa\u00e7\u00e3o e da sa\u00fade para fortalecer as ac\u00e7\u00f5es de cada um destes sectores na promo\u00e7\u00e3o da ECS (EPA \u2013 EoHPpS), reconhecendo a educa\u00e7\u00e3o e a sa\u00fade como dois direitos humanos inalien\u00e1veis, sin\u00e9rgicos e interdependentes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fortalecer os fundamentos te\u00f3ricos, pol\u00edticos e \u00e9ticos da ECS (EPS \u2013 EdPopS) como requisito para uma pr\u00e1xis pedag\u00f3gica respons\u00e1vel, produtiva e \u00e9tica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gerar um espa\u00e7o de articula\u00e7\u00e3o da academia e da sociedade civil que permita a integra\u00e7\u00e3o latino-americana para partilhar experi\u00eancias, conhecimentos e aspira\u00e7\u00f5es num prop\u00f3sito coletivo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promover a integra\u00e7\u00e3o nacional e internacional em mat\u00e9ria de ECS (EPS \u2013 EdPopS) como espa\u00e7o de aprendizagem m\u00fatua e solid\u00e1ria, e facilitar ac\u00e7\u00f5es de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o no desenvolvimento de eventos acad\u00e9mico-cient\u00edficos, processos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e forma\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Os webinars, abertos a todas as partes interessadas, fazem parte do programa. S\u00e3o sess\u00f5es vivenciais, com uma dura\u00e7\u00e3o de 60 a 90 minutos, em que os oradores convidados apresentam suas reflex\u00f5es sobre duas ou tr\u00eas quest\u00f5es problem\u00e1ticas para incentivar a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00fablico.
