UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education in New Caledonia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In line with the objective of producing and sharing knowledge and contributing to social change in favour of the health of children and young people, the UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education is a partner in the “R\u00e9ussir, \u00catre bien, \u00catre ensemble” (Rebee) programme. Rebee is a school health promotion project deployed in all primary schools in New Caledonia. It is supported by the government and all local actors involved in education and children’s health. The aim is to give the main local players the means to implement actions and practices that promote health in schools. It is a research-intervention scheme on the production of educational tools for primary school teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans la continuit\u00e9 de l\u2019objectif de produire et partager et des savoirs et contribuer au changement social en faveur de la sant\u00e9 des enfants et des jeunes, la Chaire UNESCO EducationS & Sant\u00e9 est partenaire du programme \u00ab R\u00e9ussir, \u00catre bien, \u00catre ensemble \u00bb (Rebee). Rebee est un projet de promotion de la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9tablissements du premier degr\u00e9 de Nouvelle-Cal\u00e9donie. Il est port\u00e9 par le gouvernement et l\u2019ensemble des acteurs locaux engag\u00e9s dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation et la sant\u00e9 des enfants. Il s\u2019agit de donner aux principaux acteurs locaux les moyens de mettre en \u0153uvre des actions et des pratiques promotrices de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un dispositif de recherche-intervention sur la production d\u2019outil p\u00e9dagogiques pour les enseignants de l\u2019\u00e9cole primaire.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Carmella Fernandes Da Rocha- Puleoto is a nurse who holds a master’s degree in public health and health education for children, adolescents and young adults from the University of Clermont Auvergne. She is currently in charge of health promotion at the Vice-Rectorate of Noumea and is starting a thesis on intersectoral health-education collaborations around the “succeed, be well, be together” programme.
      Her mission within the Chair is also to promote networks for sharing knowledge and practices in New Caledonia and the Pacific zone. She participates in exchanges and reflections with the national representatives of the Chair from different regions of the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Carmella Fernandes Da Rocha- Puleoto est infirmi\u00e8re dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e du master sant\u00e9 publique parcours \u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des enfants, adolescents et jeunes adultes d\u00e9livr\u00e9 par l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Clermont Auvergne. Elle est actuellement charg\u00e9e de mission en promotion de la sant\u00e9 au vice-rectorat de Noum\u00e9a et entame une th\u00e8se sur les collaborations intersectorielles sant\u00e9-\u00e9ducation autour du programme \u00ab r\u00e9ussir, \u00eatre bien, \u00eatre ensemble \u00bb.<\/em>
      Sa mission au sein de la Chaire consiste \u00e9galement \u00e0 favoriser des r\u00e9seaux de partages de connaissances et de pratiques en Nouvelle-Cal\u00e9donie et la zone Pacifique. Elle participe aux \u00e9changes et r\u00e9flexions avec les repr\u00e9sentants nationaux de la Chaire des diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du monde.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Nathalie Dupeux<\/strong> is a pedagogical advisor at the New Caledonian Education Department where she is in charge of in-service teacher training. She is also in charge of health promotion at the vice-rectorate of Noum\u00e9a and her thesis work is on the professional development of kindergarten teachers in health education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Nicolas Tessier<\/strong> is a project manager in charge of the digital network at the South Province Education Department and a pedagogical advisor. His thesis focuses on the evaluation of the “succeed, be well, be together” programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Both are also ambassadors of a global approach to student health and health-promoting classroom practices within various local institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Nathalie Dupeux<\/strong> est conseill\u00e8re p\u00e9dagogique \u00e0 la direction de l\u2019enseignement de la Nouvelle-Cal\u00e9donie o\u00f9 elle est en charge de la formation continue des enseignants. Elle est \u00e9galement charg\u00e9e de mission en promotion de la sant\u00e9 au vice-rectorat de Noum\u00e9a et son travail de th\u00e8se porte sur le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel des enseignants de maternelles en \u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
