The main theme of this year\u2019s workshop is \u2018<strong>Connecting planetary health, climate justice and community health: from knowledge to impact<\/strong>\u2019. During the workshop we will explore the links between planetary health and community health and wellbeing. We will look into mobilising communities in climate action, including the involvement of young people, taking into account indigenous perspectives, and focusing on climate justice.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Community Health Annual workshop provides a space where community health and health promotion practitioners, activists, policy makers and researchers can improve their skills.<\/p>\n<p>Organisers are the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unescochair-ghe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNESCO Chair Global Health &amp; Education<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uca.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Clermont Auvergne<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Huddersfield<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehesp.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EHESP School of Public Health<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iuhpe.org\/index.php\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE)<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/refips.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">R\u00e9seau Francophone International Pour la Promotion de la Sante (R\u00c9FIPS)<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eupha.org\/\">European Public Health Association (EUPHA)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalhealth.eu\/\">Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, UMC Utrecht<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Format of the workshop<\/h2>\n<p>The global workshop will run during 3 days, 3 1\/2 contact hours per day. To accommodate participants from different time zones, the workshop will be offered twice a day.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Block 1 will run from\u00a0<strong>10.00 \u2013 13.30 Paris; 16.00 \u2013 19.30 Beijing; 18.00 \u2013 21.30 Melbourne.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Block 2 will run from\u00a0<strong>16.00 \u2013 19.30 Paris; 7.00 \u2013 10.30 Los Angeles;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>11.00 \u2013 14.30 Buenos Aires<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop uses an interactive format ensuring\u00a0active participation\u00a0through a series of\u00a0online lectures, combined with\u00a0community heath hubs\u00a0(small working groups).<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language<\/h2>\n<p>The presentations during the plenary sessions will be held in English, French and Spanish. This year we will provide translation into 50+ languages, including English, French, Spanish, Persian, Arabic and Chinese. We will use a translation app based on AI during the plenary sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Community Health hubs will be organised in different language groups. Participants can indicate their preferred language for the hubs.
