Take part in an online consultation on the UNESCO and WHO Global Standards and Indicators for Health Promoting Schools!

UNESCO and WHO have launched the initiative “Make Every School a Health Promoting School”, that will benefit more than 2.3 billion school-aged children. This action will contribute to the goal of WHO’s 13th General Program of Work of achieving “1 billion healthier lives” by 2023. Global standards and indicators for Health Promoting Schools, as well as implementation guidelines, will be available to guide countries and support them in achieving this vision.

Thus, UNESCO and WHO invite you to participate in an online public consultation to hear your thoughts in order to solicit comments from national and subnational level policy makers working in education, health or health promotion, school principals, students, civil society and development partners.

The online consultation is open until November 10, 2020, and can be submitted in English, French and Spanish. Each comment can be taken into account and incorporated into the final document.
