Keynotes launch event UNESCO Chairs

The four impressive keynote speakers of the launch event addressed the main issues concerning child health and education globally. Where are we now, what kind of data, policies and practices are needed and how can the UNESCO Chairs and WHO Collaborating Center contribute to make children’s lives healthier?

The four keynote speakers were:
– Mr. Prof. Michael Marmot, Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London, Director of the Institute of Health Equity (UK)
– Mrs. Dr. Faten Ben Abdelaziz, Coordinator of Health Promotion at WHO (Geneva)
– Mrs. Dr. Ikuko Tomomatsu, Researcher at Kanagawa Centre for Clinical Research and Strategy (Japan)
– Mrs. Prof. Fatou Diagne, Professor of Education at University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (Senegal)
