Purpose of consultancy
To contribute to the development of outreach plans for early-release courses as well as produce communications documents for promotion of early release courses with stakeholders.
Background
The WHO Academy is the World Health Organization’s global institute for learning. It is a priority special initiative of the WHO transformation agenda and supports accelerated learning and capacity building towards achievement of the 13th General Programme of Work and Triple Billion targets.
Now under development, the Academy will offer online and in-person courses to ensure that health workers, WHO and UN staff, policy makers and other public health practitioners can access up-to-date, personalised learning, when and where they need it.
WHO Academy courses are designed by experts in adult learning and make use of new technologies and techniques to ensure that learners apply their new competencies in their communities.
The Academy’s first ‘early-release’ courses will be available progressively from July 2023, with the global launch campaign planned for October 2024.
