Two internship positions at IFRC

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world’s largest humanitarian network. It’s secretariat supports local Red Cross and Red Crescent action in more than 192 countries, bringing together almost 14 million volunteers for the good of humanity.

At the moment the IFRC has two vacancies for interns:

Intern, Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness

The Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness Intern will be focus on two files:

  • support the research and analysis of key evidence for the IFRC’s WDR, focused this year on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • support documentation and knowledge sharing activities of the Global Health Security team to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to the IFRC’s epidemic and pandemic preparedness advocacy strategy.

Intern, Policy and Research

The Policy and Research Intern will focus on two files:

  • Support the preparation of the IFRC’s World Disasters Report (WDR), focused this year on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • Support the Global Health Security team’s mapping and knowledge processes.
