Adolescent Health: Coming of age conference

18-19 September 2019, Ascot, UK

This two day conference will bring together clinicians, researchers and academics to discuss the unique challenges of caring for adolescents and showcase new ideas and innovations. The conference is organised by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM).

The UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education will contribute to the workshop : ‘Implementing and scaling up school-based health interventions in the real world – what are the roles of health professionals’. The  aim of the workshop is to explore the levers and obstacles to the implementation of school-based health interventions, and the contribution of health professionals. This workshop is hosted by the International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH).
