‘Future of Health Promotion and Health Promotion Research’ Seminar on May 15th

The Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen will host a joint seminar between the UNESCO chair Global Health & Education and the European Forum for Health Promotion Research on May 15th. The subject of the seminar is the ‘Future of Health Promotion and Health Promotion Research’. Presenters include: Martin Weber (WHO Europe), Bjarne Bruun Jensen (Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Denmark), Lenneke Vaandrager (Wageningen University, the Netherlands), Stephan Van den Broucke (Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and IUHPE), Nastaran Keshavarz Mohammadi (Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran), Helle Terkildsen Maindal (Aarhus University and SDCC, Denmark), Geir Arild Espnes (Norwegian University for Science and Technology, Norway),and Didier Jourdan (UNESCO chair Global Health & Education, University of Clermont Auvergne, France).

Following the seminar, the Scientific and Ethical Committee of the UNESCO chair will hold its first meeting. Presentations and discussions on the Terms of Reference, the Strategic Framework and the 2019 workplan are proposed for the meeting’s agenda.
